The 2012 Top Vehicle Colors

During 2012, automotive consumers have variety choice about the cars color. However, referring to the color that became a favorite among car users in the world, Inautonews write on December 24, 2012 based on the report from DuPont Automotive Color Popularity Report which states that the most popular car color in the world is white.

After white, the other colors are the favorite is black. While silver was on the third place. According to this report, the popularity of white color car will continues to increase, especially in the Asia Pacific market. The black is synonymous with elegance and luxury aura.

White color is consumers favorite in the next two years in a row. In fact, in the past the white color often using for the commercial vehicle such as truck types.

White color cars dominate in some countries such as Russia, Japan, South Korea, South Africa, Europe, North America and Mexico. If it was calculated amounts to 23 percent of the global car market.

Then the black has accounted for 21 percent, followed by 18 percent for silver. The black color vehicle which dominates in China, while silver dominate in Brazil and South America.

As for the Indonesian market is very different from the world trend above. Andre Mulyadi, an automotive modificator from Bandung found that white color trend will continue to diminish. Even next year is expected to pastel colors such as light green, orange, and the like that would be interest many of automotive consumers.
