BMW Pininfarina Gran Lusso Coupe Concept

The prestigious event on automotive world, Concorso d'Eleganza is back in 2013. Not wanting to throw away this golden opportunity, BMW did a collaboration with an Italian coachbuilder Pininfarina to show Gran Lusso Coupe at the event.

Previously a lot of the photos of this BMW and Pininfarina collaboration concept car in cyberspace. And the BMW Group also released a video which shows the luxury of sedan coupe models. This is the figure of BMW Pininfarina Gran Lusso Coupe.

The sedan coupe will take part in the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este 2013. The Gran Lusso Coupe looks elegant and luxurious, and continued to impress as a powerful and fast coupe. Where this model comes with using the basic of BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe. This car is showing kidney-shaped grille which was make the front of the car like a shark nose.
Two pairs of the 'slanted' LED-headlights which was make the Gran Lusso Coupe look a like stared at the road ahead. For emphasize his pace, then was installed two pairs of 21 inches wheel with a sporty design rim. The 4-seater coupe featuring a long bonnet that exudes an elegance aura. Under the hood mounted the twin-turbo V12 engine.
The luxury and privilege of car cabin's are presented by the finest leather and 48,000 years-old kauri wood. And the headliner is finished in a principe di gallo pattern, much like an expensive Italian suit. The tobacco-brown and black leather is supplied by Foglizzo, an Italian leather producer founded in 1921.

All wooden elements on this car comes from a piece of kauri wood which is chosen by the Italian wooden experts at Riva 1920. The kauri wood has grain and unique color shift (from gold to red to brown), depending on light and viewing angle. These logs, Agathis australis, grew in northern New Zealand almost 48,000 years ago.
