The flying cars no longer a dream

Fairly rapid technological developments. Results civilization or technology that used to only be wishful thinking or just joking matter, has now been realized as real. Cars that can fly or the flying car is one of the highly anticipated tech inventions of mankind on this world.

Can we imagine, its presence will be very helpful to answer problems or traffic congestion city very crowded and dense, at times of peak hours. However, we also may be more likely to accept the fact that this will be a long dream to realization.

Driving cars in the air will be different with a plane in the sky, then we can imagine anyway, if the flying car has been produced and there were no fly rule, how many accidents that might happen? Regulatory process will take a long time with all the study that must be taken.

The flying car concept is also a taboo because of there were so many lies and jokes. Most of even only exist in dreams. But actually, the pilot for the flying car design has been done long ago. The famous flying car concept was made by an ingenious man who was know as Mad Ludwig or Ludwig II, the king of Bavaria who was declared insane and removed from his throne on June 10, 1886.

Now, after more than 120 years after his death, scientists revealed that he was one of the flight pioneers. Some time ago, flight specialists have found illustration pictures of Ludwig's flying cars design results that have been successfully digitally reconstructed by the computer design experts.

Real progress shown and achievement by gait Terrafugia, derived from the Latin word which means "escape from land". The flying car is designed for two passengers, adopting light aircraft design and technology. Starting from the propeller in the rear, and also the wings on both sides of the car's body.

The flying car is produced by Transition Roadable Aircraft (TRA) in Massachusetts, USA, in the release DrivenToFly, on Monday, May 6, 2013, that recorded significant progress in introducing its products, Terrafugia TF-X Concept or Hybrid Flying Car. The car is expected to be the answer for a car that can also function as a plane.

The flying car is environmentally friendly because it is combined with hybrid technology. Designed capable of driving such as the cars in general and at any time can fly into the air. Conceptualized could take off and land vertically like a helicopter so it does not need the runway.

Enriched with conventional engine that combined with a hybrid system. The conventional engine which capable of spraying power of 300 hp and two electric motors that each of them could be produce power of 600 hp. When flying, the speed is capable of reaching 322 kph with a maximum range of 805 kilometers.

Terrafugia also revealed, it will only take about five hours for learn to drive and fly with the TF-X because its conceptualized using the operating features as easy on the car. More importantly, Terrafugia TF-X Concept has an automatic systems devices for flying and landing, to ensure the beginners can use it.

However, the TRA said it was too early to talk about price. The company wants to put the TF-X Concept in automotive production scale which have competitive price with high-end luxury cars. The company also says the Terrafugia TF-X Concept is still in the development of approximately 8 to 12 years. In terms of the model is not as grand as sophisticated cars today, but with the speed of technological development car designs today, would be very easy to modify the model if it is the development of a flying car production is growing rapidly.

Last year they had successfully tested the Terrafugia. This effort is the first test of the six official testing they must do, before it finally getting to fly certificate from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The flight test was conducted at Plattsburgh International Airport. The testing includes handling, stability testing, evaluation of engine cooling, as well as the best settings of propeller in a variety of flight conditions. If they successfully completed all the required tests, so the flying car is ready to be mass produced.
