Here are the big-4 premium supercars are present in one of the largest exhibition in the world,

4. Porsche 918 Spyder
When Porsche unveiled the 918 Spyder concept at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show we were all in amazement. Within that amazement was a sense of a sense of pessimism, as we were unsure exactly how this future successor to the Carrera GT would look and run in the real world. We all know that manufacturers have a habit of “overestimating” its cars at these shows, to put it nicely.

All of this technology pushes this V-8 to an impressive 580 hp at 8,500 rpm and 500 Nm (368 lb-ft) of torque. That power is stout, to say the least, but the 918 Spyder goes beyond that by adding in a pair of electric motors – one powering the front axle and one on the rear – that pump out 85 kW (114 hp) and 95 kW (127 hp), respectively. While adding the horsepower up directly nets you a grand total of 821 hp, you have to remember that these hybrid systems don’t add up that way. This setup gives the 918 a total of 795 hp to play with and 780 Nm (575 lb-ft) of torque.

The 918 Spyder's existence is as significant as the Le Mans Porsche 917 and as technologically groundbreaking as the 1986 Porsche 959 – it suggests that hybrid supercars will not only prevail, they will dominate. Gone are the clear polycarbonate wheel covers (molten brake dust permanently scarred the material) and the side exhaust pipes, but the styling of Porsche's newest supercar remains mostly intact from what we observed in Switzerland.

New additions include the aforementioned top-mounted exhaust, vents on the front quarter panels (dumping high pressure air out of the wheel wells) and magnesium wheels. Speaking of production, Porsche intends to start assembly on September 18, 2013 and deliveries should follow in December. All told, the automaker will manufacture 918 units, all of them 2014 models, with a base price of U.S. $ 845,000 (or approx Rp. 8.2 billion).

3. McLaren P1
McLaren, a British car manufacturer claims that it has managed to sell 6 units McLaren P1 on the first day opening of 2013 Geneva Motor Show. Although the new official disclosed in Geneva, car cost £ 866,000 or U.S. $ 1.12 million (or approximately Rp. 10.86 billion) was already doing the pivot sales since 2012 when the Paris Motor Show takes place.

McLaren P1 carries two doors that can open up manually (butterfly doors). When we seen from the side, the curve of the body indicated a strong sporty impression. The McLaren engineers deliberately make an aerodynamic body to be comfortable driving this car at high speed. The premium sports car has capacity of 2-passenger, including the driver. As reported Worldcarfans, McLaren P1 was limited product, where manufacturer will only make this cars as much as 375 units.

Besides the car is also fitted an electric motor to help the movement of wheels that can generate power of 132 kW or equivalent 179 hp and torque reaches 192 lb-ft (260 Nm). When the two of power sources working together, it will produce power output of 916 hp (674 kW) and 663 lb-ft (900 Nm).

The electric motors technology at the McLaren P1 called Instant Power Assist System (IPAS), where the electric motor does not move itself to drive the wheel while the petrol engine off. The electric motor will turn on as soon ignited petrol engines. Power is given to help the conventional engine that produces exceptional power.

McLaren also claimed, it can be driven from 0-100 kph in a matter of less than 3 seconds with a maximum speed of 350 kph. Using Drag Reduction System (DRS) technology which is inspired by the F-1 land-jet which can reduce wind resistance by 23 percent through the wing that attached at the rear of the car.

2. Ferrari LaFerrari
Not to be outdone, Ferrari also showing their phenomenal models, LaFerrari. Ferrari stating that before exhibited to the public, the supercar that will be produced only 499 units is sold out. For acceleration, this supercar can be driven from 0-100 kph in less than 3 seconds. If you want to have it, the car was sold in Italy (including tax) for 1.3 million euros or U.S. $1.7 million (or approx Rp. 16.5 billion). (Jump to related article.)
