Row of 5 Fuel-Efficient Sports Cars

Along with the depletion of oil reserves, there is a big question whether electric cars can transform the conventional cars that use oil or diesel fuel? Apparently the world's automotive business believed the car with a conventional engine remains a mainstay in comparison to electric vehicles.

It was clear from the results of a survey conducted by U.S. audit and tax consultancy, KPMG on U.S. auto company executives. Even in the next decade, the electric car market will not be too big. Although sales of electric cars has gone up three-fold in 2012, sales of electric cars globally in 2025 will not be more than 15 percent. This factor has led car manufacturers continue to invest in improving the performance of the engine to make it more fuel efficient than ever.

A quarter of executives said the company will continue to invest to reduce the size and improve the performance of conventional engines in the next five years. Ford, for example, rely on the EcoBoost, smaller engine but powerful.

Nearly three-quarters of executives said, continuing to develop conventional engines. The target, the fuel consumption is increasingly economical plus lower of the carbon dioxide (CO2) emision, than in developing electric cars in the next decade. Therefore, new innovations to produce the fuel-efficient sport cars. There are five sports car with the latest fuel-efficient engines based assessment of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
