The 5-Fastest Cars in the World

Not only in the official circuit, the manufacturer, producer or anybody in general be obsessed to be able to have even a high-speed car driving itself. But not only fast, of course coupled with the convenience factor, and high safety as well. That is the essential, which is then to be considered as per the manufacturer to bring a car.

Competition for the top spot in the world's fastest cars in recent years is very fierce. The project was to make the car as fast as lightning spend not less, research and development costs that siphon huge funds. Large funds disbursed to win the title of world's fastest car. The car has a top speed of course will have a major accident risk. Therefore, the safety factor is another factor to consider. Who wants to drive the fastest car had an accident or even ended in prison.

To reaching the position of the fastest cars in the world should have a high safety factor to be legally or formally sold. If before that rule was the Italian manufacturer, Ferrari because they can make the car with speed 321.87 km/h, now it can be done by middle-class manufacturer. Here is a list of the 5 fastest cars in the world.

1. Bugatti Veyron Super Sport (429.69 km/h)
This supercar produced by Volkswagen Group and Bugatti Automobiles SAS is regarded as the highest and the car accelerates rapidly.

First produced in 2005 at a cost of 1.1 million euros. Using an 8.0 litre, quad-turbocharged, W16 cylinder engine, equivalent to two narrow-angle V8 engines that produces a power of 987 hp and allows it to reach speeds of 429 km/h. In addition to Super Sport variants, the Veyron standard variants has a top speed of 407.16 km/h and Grand Sport can run at the speed of 405.55 km/h.

Just 30 of the ultra-rare, ultra-quick and ultra-pricey Bugatti Veyron Super Sports will be built as a final send off to one of the most coveted and extreme modern cars built.

2. Koenigsegg Agera R (418.43 km/h)
Koenigsegg Agera is a model of the latest that has tremendous speed. The Agera R will use an in-house developed 5.0-litre twin-turbo-charged V8 engine.

Among many differences to the standard Agera, the Koenigsegg Agera R has an upgraded fuel and engine management system with enough flow capacity to generate 1,140 hp and 1,200 nm of torque on E85 and E100 biofuel.

As there is less energy content per given volume in these biofuels compared to normal petrol, the fuel-system has to manage a flow that is similar to a 2,000 hp petrol engine, which means that the Agera R’s return-less fuel system has the highest capacity of any car presently in production.

As the Agera R is a flexfuel car, it can also be run on normal petrol. As 95 octane fuel has less octane than ethanol E85, the power is reduced to 960 hp with 1,100 Nm of torque due to the boost pressure and ignition timing being altered to match the fuel characteristics.

At the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, Koenigsegg revealed significant updates for the 2013 Agera R. Among them include new one-piece lightweight wheels constructed of hollow carbon fiber (a new, Koenigsegg-developed technology called "Aircore,") a new suspension system, new front/winglets for more downforce, a new lightweight rear exhaust section, and an overall increased horsepower rating by using a new engine management system and increasing the rev limiter from 7,250 rpm to 7,500. On 93 octane fuel the Agera R produces 960 hp (up 20,) and on E85 fuel, 1,140 (up 25).

3. Gumpert Apollo (360.49 km/h)
Gumpert Apollo is produced by the manufacturer in Germany. Although tests have not won a race official pace car, but this car is one of the fastest cars in the world.

The Apollo is a 1,100 kg to 1,200 kg (depending on options), street-legal race car. It is a mid-engined, rear wheel drive two-seater constructed on a tubular chromoly frame, with fiberglass or optional carbon fiber body panels. Gumpert claim the design of the Apollo is optimized so that the car could drive upside-down in a tunnel if driven at sufficiently high speeds.

The Apollo uses a 4,163 cc bi-turbo intercooled version of the Audi V8 engine and be able to fast track with a top speed of over 360 km/h.

4. Noble M600 (358.88 km/h)
By using engine-powered 650hp this Noble M600 car which manufactured in the UK, has a unique machine that is behind the driver seat.

This car uses a steel tube chassis to support a 4.4-liter V8 Yamaha-built combined with the Volvo XC90 SUV. Noble M600 has strapped a pair of turbos on to lift the power to 650bhp.

Expected to stir that power is a six-speed Graziano gearbox, and with the weight kept down to a low 1,000 kg by use of an all carbon fibre body, we can expect to see the M600 delivering a 0-100km/h time of around 3.8 seconds.

5. Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 (349.23 km/h)
Lamborghini Aventador is the supercar that using 691hp engine and one of the best product of Lamborghini since the 1960s.

This Italian manufacturer has installed a number of features unique to Lamborghini Aventador, such as the pushrod suspension, super-fast single clutch gearbox, and all carbon fiber construction.

It could be that with the development of a dynamic, you go down and type the fastest car will change its composition. We'll wait and see. And certainly if you have these cars prioritize safety driving on the highway. *** [FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | DIH | PIKIRAN RAKYAT 07092012]
