Indeed, when compared to Ferrari or Lamborghini from Italy, the Spanish car maker has not been as famous as them. Because it may be, the sports car enthusiasts were not familiar with the name of GTA Motor or Izaro GT-E. But the technology of Spanish sports cars no less great.

Here are five sports cars made in Spain:

1. GTA Spano
As fast as a Ferrari, that's a fitting nickname for the GTA Spano. Just imagine a configured V-10 engine with a capacity of 8.3 liters and produced maximum power of 740 hp and 840 hp with bioethanol fuel.

No wonder that the ability of 0-100 km acceleration takes only 2.9 seconds. Cars are sold at a price of 770 thousand U.S. dollars or about Rp. 7 billion that could reach a maximum speed of 350 km/h.

GTA Spano is produced in Valencia, Spain in limited quantities since 2010. The aerodynamic design is the work of Spanish designer Sento Pallardo.

I think Spain auto manufacturers are now ready to compete with their European counterparts with these cars. Of all the cars featured in this article, the Izaro-GTE got my full attention. This sports utility vehicle has a beautiful profile and a powerful electric engine that can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/hr in under 4 seconds. It can very well compete with Tesla and Venturi cars.
Indeed, Spain’s car manufacturing industry can now compete with other manufacturing companies, in and outside of Europe. Many find their workmanship remarkable and outstanding. You can see how much effort they put on producing these quality vehicles.
